yes you can do this quite simply. you can go to my netwrok places from the start menu from here you can add a network place. fairly simple. here is a good link that will help you with that....the beginning of it is kinda blah blah blah but has the information that you are looking for.

Run the network setup wizard on both. Put them in the same workgroup. Turn on file and printer sharing. Share at least one file on each. You should be able to do a search by the computer name for the other.Click on the icon ,it will show whats shared on the other. I always make a shortcut so I dont have to do a search everytime.
Look in the properties of both computer drives and make sure that they're set to share files over the network. If you look in My Computer, there should be a hand under the drive/files that are configured for sharing.
am using 4 computers using belkin wireless
Always ensure that you have set an exception for file and printer sharing in your firewall as well. NEVER share the whole of the main drive or the system directories (windows or winnt, windows\system, sytem32, and program files.) One wrong copy, edit, overwrite or move in these and you could stop the system. There is no recycle bin support for deletes accross the network.
