Cache memory is it on all computers?

Are all levels of cache memory found on all computers? L1, L2 and L3. Also what does ALU stand for in the computer world?

Thanks

L1, L2, and L3 cache refer to memory located on the CPU. All processors have it. It is used to store information that needs to be accessed very quickly. Processors only have a small amount of cache memory (most of the Core 2 Duo models have at most 4MB) so naturally, only the most critical information is stored in the cache while the rest is contained by the RAM.

Also, ALU could stand for two things. First, it could stand for arithmetic logic unit. As its name might indicate, it is a circuit that calculates arithmetic and logic operations. ALUs form the basis for CPUs. ALU is also the ticker symbol for Alcatel-Lucent stock; Alcatel-Lucent is a telecom giant.

Some have them, but they all have at least an L1, without CPU caching, it wouldn't work. ALU stands for Arithmetic/Logic Unit, it is the logical processor part of the CPU, the other one is the Control Unit. Together, the Control Unit and ALU make up the CPU.
