Do you prefer learning from books, computers or something else?

Out of books and computers, I prefer books. I love both but when it comes to learning books are my preference. This is because books come in a variety of subjects, styles, sizes, and the like. You can really go to a library and find a book on absolutely anything. I know that the internet has thousands of resources that can serve the same purpose, but nothing beats sitting comfortably somewhere with a good book without any IMs, technical problems, page loading, etc.

Both books and computers have their advantages and disadvantages, but which do you prefer and why? And, if there are other things you like learning from, what are they?

Books are a place where ideas are put into eternity. They are a way for the dead to speak to us.

The computer is TOO changable from minute to minute to be a super reliable source of information. (Any ONE entry will have to be checked against ten other resources to be relied on safely)

The BEST method of learning its to be taught by a dedicated and knowlegable instructor.

There is a difference between an instructor telling you what HE KNOWS and what YOU NEED TO KNOW in order to master the subject. An good instructor can interpret your questions, determine your area of misunderstanding and most importantly, give you an overview of the ''Big Picture''. No book can do that.
