How to get internet on two computers?

I am trying to figure out if there is an adapter or anything that I can use to connect my two laptops. I am a frequent stayer at hotels and they charge internet use for each computer so Im trying to figure out a way to connect both computers and only pay one internet charge.

You will need either a router or an ethernet cable called a ''Crossback'' cable (it's orange). Connect the crossback cable between both computers. I'm assuming you're using Windows XP. It's fairly easy on XP. You just have to establish a connection between both computers, then in one of the submenus of ''Network Places'' settings there should be a little box to check for enabling the internet to be shared across an already existing network.
network them wirelessly or a firewire cable and share internet connection (ICS) in help will tellyou how to do it
You can probably do this by purchasing a fairly inexpensive switch. (Don't get a hub and make sure that the switch that you buy is full-duplex [faster because it can send and receive at the same time])
