You are basically doing retail sales. You need to know the product, and you need to have good interpersonal skills and the drive to sell.
Questions to ask (even ask yourself, read between the lines):
1. Is this a commission-based job? This means you only get paid when you sell.
2. How much do I need to know about computers? What kind of training is provided?
3. What opportunities are there for advancement?
Basically, I would view this as a job in sales rather than any kind of technical job. That may be what you want?
