How can i have all of my 7 computers team up and become a mega computer?

i heard that a while ago you could go to a website and it would use your computers processing power, i have all of my computers networked so all i need it a program to do it. if you know one then answer this!!

Hi, actually it is not as easy as what you think. The term of what we're speak here is called Clustering. You should run at least a Server Operating System (OS) either Unix/Linux or Windows. For Windows at least WindowsNT4.0 or now Win2K or Win2K3 and install another server application name: MTS (Microsoft Transaction Server). As the name, you could imagine how expensive the licenses cost would be. Even though for Linux/Unix, it's somehow not really ''free''. The installation of the cluster system can be troublesome for some newbie. Even one with experience in OS doesn't really mean he/she is able to configure the cluster. Trust me :)

Later on, when you've become expert in this cluster, you have a value because not many people are expert in this fields.
