Which of these computers would you choose?

Which of these computers would you choose? I'm looking for an all around good machine that will allow me to do a lot of multitasking and run pretty much anything without having to empty out my bank account. If you have another one for a similar price that you like better tell me that one.

I'm leaning toward the first but I'd like some input.

$80 price difference and you get a slightly faster CPU, 1GB more ram, and 80GB larger hard drive.

It's hard to say. Yes, the first computer has more and would ''last longer'' ... The 2nd machine is fine and all the specs will keep you running for quite some time.

Either will allow you for the mulitasking and general usage. If you wanted to get into gaming then that opens up another issue of the video card. The higher end games will require a beefier video card.

For the price, I would say the first machine would do you best all around.

Maybe you have a coupon, but looking at those, they are showing $750 and $650 respectivly.

I think you should go with the 1st one. The extra gig of RAM will probably be quite helpful.
The first one probably. It's higher performance I would say, and you're getting a lot more for not TOO big of a price difference.
honestly i wld prefer diy-ing.
