Calling on anyone with a good knowledge of Computers and their spec.?

I've had it with my laptop and external hard drive and I want to buy a desktop mainly for my music. I'm going to be storing about 10,000 songs on the computer but I would still like the computer to be quick and not really slow due to lack of memory.

Any computers that you could reccommend or any minimum hard drive space etc etc that I should be looking for would be a great help.

Here is the configuration that would be best for you:

Processor: 2.4GHz P4 (don't get dual core if you are not gaming).

RAM: 1 GB (no need to get 2 GB if you don't play video games.

Grpahics: Built-in/on-borad motherboard

HD Drive: Minimum 120 GB. Do the math - if you have 10,000 songs and each song takes a space of 5MB, then the total space required is 50,000 MB or approximately 49 GB. Don't go for something stupid as a 500 GB hard disk.

Sound Card: Don't go for built-in/onbaord sound card. Your computer's perfromance as well as the sound quality would definitely improve if you use something such as Creative's X-fi sound card (get the music edition).
