Does any one using Pentium I computers still?

What kind of computer you are using to connect internet? What kind of operating system it has? Are you saw some one using Pentium I or II computers still?

I have a Pentium II era Celeron at 333 Mhz. I upgraded the RAM to 256 MB, and it now runs Xubuntu quite happily. My little brother uses it for typing practice, so it doesn't go online very often. It is more than capable, though, and I did it many times on it in the past.

I have a Pentium 233 Mhz MMX computer with 32 MB of RAM. It's CD drive is currently broken, so it doesn't really run anything at the moment. I'm planning on turning it into aDOS gaming machine. I have an old ISA Ethernet card that I might slap in it, and then surf the internet with it. That isn't my primary intention for the machine, though.

And, of course, I have a 600 Mhz Pentium III with 256 MB of RAM that has run almost every OS I have thrown at it, with the exception of Vista, quite well.

I don't, but I know a lot of people that do, although the Pentium III is the most popular older chip. Since the original pentium is hard to find if you need to replace it. However, as far as use, most people use them with Linux for simple server stuff, or testbeds. I have even seen some linux serves on pentium 1's acting as a web server with lighttp.

One thing to keep in mind is that the big bloated monster called windows is the reason everyone has newer computers, Linux runs on practically anything, even a 486, granted you will be limited on what you can do, but it will run.
I sold my uncle's PII with windows 98Se couple of weeks ago...it was in pretty bad shape.

I have a core2duo PC at home and built him a Dual core last year
Well i use vista home premium

and Xp Home

I use an intel celeron processor for vista

And Pentium 4 for xp
I still have a few running as servers under Linux.
