Just like any other computer, only with Japanese keyboards (an example is http://infusion.vox.com/library/photo/6a... ).

Manufacturers include Sony, Toshiba, HP, pretty much the same as everywhere else. When we lived in Japan we were able to use American computers without any problems, even for Japanese input (with the Japanese language pack), and friends who came from Japan to the US to work had no problems using their computers here. The keyboard/language is the only real difference.
